Description
Pediatric Neuropsychologist – Boutique ADHD/ASD Practice (Columbus Circle, NYC)
Place of Mind P.C., a boutique child and adolescent psychiatry practice located at Columbus Circle, is seeking a Pediatric Neuropsychologist to join our team.
Founded by a Harvard-trained child and adolescent psychiatrist, our mission is to create a premier NYC hub for comprehensive ADHD and Autism evaluations — where rigorous assessment and treatment occur seamlessly under one roof. Families receive gold-standard evaluation and immediate access to care without fragmentation or long waits.
We serve children and adolescents ages 4–18 presenting with complex diagnostic pictures across ADHD, ASD, learning differences, and co-occurring conditions.
We are seeking a thoughtful, detail-oriented psychologist interested in building a long-term clinical home within a collaborative, intellectually rigorous environment. You will work closely with our founding psychiatrist, contributing to integrated diagnostic formulations and shared treatment planning.
Qualifications:
Licensed (or license-eligible) PhD/PsyD in NY (NJ a plus)
Strong training in pediatric neuropsychology
Independent administration and interpretation of ADOS-2
Experience with cognitive, academic, and executive function testing
Clear, well-organized report writing and strong differential diagnostic skills
What We Offer:
Prime Columbus Circle location
Calm, high-functioning clinical environment
Competitive compensation: $170,000–$220,000 annual earnings depending on structure and caseload; full benefits included
Predictable schedule with 3–4 weeks PTO
Thoughtful evaluation pace (approximately 4–6 comprehensive evaluations per month)
Commitment to work-life balance
Administrative and referral support
True team-based ADHD/ASD model with case collaboration
Opportunity to grow with the practice over time
What We Value:
Intellectual rigor paired with warmth. Clinical precision balanced with relational depth. A collaborative, reliable presence and a genuine interest in building something enduring.
This is a quality-driven, not volume-driven position. We are building something lasting and are looking for someone who wants to grow with it.
If you are seeking a clinical home where your expertise is respected, your schedule is sustainable, and your work has meaningful impact — we would love to hear from you.
Please send your CV and brief cover letter to kimrichter@placeofmind.com.
Join us in building something that truly matters for NYC’s children and families.
