Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in South Florida is seeking an additional BE/BC Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join its expanding team of eight board-certified physicians trained to treat a variety of pediatric malignancies and blood disorders. The selected physician will partner with an experienced, multidisciplinary team to provide family-centered care to child and adolescent patients with a broad spectrum of hematologic and oncologic conditions including solid tumors, brain tumors, leukemia, and sickle cell disease.

Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders provides cares for about 100 newly diagnosed patients annually. As a member of the Children's Oncology Group, the Center is one of the highest participants in research protocols in Florida.

This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.

The eight-story, nearly 400,000-square-foot, environmentally friendly facility features state-of-the-art patient rooms, cardiac hybrid operating rooms, surgical and interventional radiology suites, intensive care and cardiac intensive care units, intraoperative MRI, family resource and respite spaces, ambulatory services, imaging services that feature a CT scanner disguised as a pirate ship, and inpatient and outpatient pediatric oncology treatment.
