We are seeking a creative, flexible, and enthusiastic occupational therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage a pediatric OT caseload for half the week and work with an interdisciplinary team to provide Autism diagnostic evaluations for the other half of the week.
Responsibilities and Duties
In coordination with the interdisciplinary team, the OT will assess fine motor skills, daily living skills, and sensory processing differences through a neurodivergent affirming lens. They will actively contribute to interdisciplinary evaluations, case conferences, and make specific, individualized recommendations for care. The OT may occasionally provide educational in-services to other professionals and the community.
Requirements
Required:
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
Washington State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist
3 years of experience in pediatric diagnostic or treatment settings
Preferred Experience:
- Administering the ADOS and ADI-R and/or relevant advanced training
- Educating and training parents, caregivers, or other community members
- Working as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Providing community outreach and education
- Leading program development
