Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), is seeking an experienced clinical leader to serve as a pediatric trauma program manager for our Pediatric Level I Trauma Program. This is an opportunity to take a highly visible leadership role in the continued development, growth and quality of pediatric trauma care. You’ll bring together clinical expertise, strategic thinking and a passion for improving outcomes for children and families while working alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional care.

As the pediatric trauma program manager, you’ll help guide the clinical, operational and strategic direction of the program. You’ll collaborate across disciplines to strengthen care delivery, evaluate outcomes and identify opportunities to take an already critical program forward.

In this role, you will:

• Lead initiatives to enhance and grow the Pediatric Level I Trauma Program
• Promote collaboration and best practices across the multidisciplinary trauma team
• Drive quality improvement through the evaluation of protocols, processes, data and patient outcomes
• Support continued compliance with state, federal and accreditation requirements
• Develop education that strengthens pediatric trauma knowledge and clinical practice
• Build relationships across departments, healthcare providers and community organizations
• Advocate for pediatric trauma patients and their families throughout the continuum of care
• Use data and performance trends to identify opportunities to improve quality, safety and outcomes

We’re looking for a strong clinical leader who understands both the complexity of pediatric trauma care and the importance of building the teams, processes and standards behind it. Qualified candidates will have:

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
• Graduation from an accredited nursing, nurse practitioner or physician assistant program
• Current New York State RN, NP or PA license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• At least six (6) years of professional clinical experience, including three years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, clinical care protocols and regulatory requirements
• Proven leadership, communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
• The ability to analyze data and translate findings into meaningful improvements in care
• Experience developing and executing strategies for program growth and enhancement
