Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist with pediatric experience and GE MRI systems proficiency for a 13-week assignment at a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center children's hospital.
Details
- Children's hospital setting within a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
- MRI department serving a pediatric patient population
- 3x12-hour day shifts, Wednesday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Weekend work required as needed
- Fixed Wed–Fri schedule; block scheduling is not available
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience required; 3+ years preferred
- Pediatric experience required
- Proficiency with GE MRI systems required
- ARRT certification required
- Current BLS required
- At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers are not eligible
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
- Active license in compliance with NLC guidelines required; pending licensure is not accepted — license required if applicable
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission
Additional Information
- Perform MRI imaging procedures for a pediatric patient population in a high-acuity children's hospital environment
- Travelers who are former permanent or internal associate employees must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return
- If major end-of-year holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) fall within the assignment period, travelers must be willing to work at least 2 of 3; if only 2 fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be covered
- Vaccination status must be included with your profile
- Any certifications expiring during the assignment should include a documented renewal plan
